Good morning,
ALL WORK MUST BE TURNED IN BY 3PM FRIDAY, MAY 22, 2020. NO WORK ACCEPTED AFTER THAT.
Power School is open for you to see your grades for this quarter. I have returned Google Classroom to the way it normally looks when an assignment is missing: no grade, not turned in.
When submitting a google document to me, please remember to SHARE it so I can actually see it. Thanks.
This week’s assignments on Google Classroom will show up in your account first thing Monday morning. Those assignments will be due by midnight on Friday. So the assignments posted on May 11 will be due by midnight on Friday May 15. You can work on the assignments at your own pace at any time during the week; you do not have to wait until Friday to work on the assignments. In fact, it would probably be best if you do a little bit each day so that you aren’t overwhelmed at the end of the week.
ZOOM meeting times Friday: I will be available for: Yearbook/Tech from 4:00 to 4:15, Spanish 2, 3, & 4 from 4:15 to 4:30, and Spanish 1 from 4:30 to 4:45. Hopefully my internet will be stable this week.
Please check google classroom, canvas, and your email daily to make sure that you are not missing anything in any class. I check my email constantly, so will be available to answer any questions every day. Following is an overview of this week’s assignments. If you are a student who has been identified as having “iffy” internet, all of the following activities were available for you (or a parent) to pick up at school as a paper packet on April 13/14. The packets include ALL work for all 5 weeks.
Spanish 1: Short story to read and translate, ‘Alma’, and one EdPuzzle video, also ‘Alma’ to practice answering questions.
Spanish 2: Señor Wooly video, “Banco”, 5 activities.
Spanish 3 & 4: Señor Wooly video, “Banco”, 5 activities.
Yearbook: We will be practicing proofing and reviewing skills. This week’s worksheet is “Paragraph_ Proofing and Editing”. The worksheet is posted to google classroom and you may submit your answers there or in email. If you aren’t certain of an answer, please do some research and figure it out.
Tech: We will continue working with Khan Academy programming or with an end of year project. The details for the project along with details about completing Khan Academy have already been emailed to you.
